SHARE A PET

Dear Pet Lover,

All dogs and cats 10 months or older are on the SHARE‑A‑PET PROGRAM. Puppies and kittens less than 10 months old, are not on the program, because they are quickly adopted.

It cost the League $50.00 to house each pet for 1 month. This includes vet care, food, employees, heat/ac and electricity.

You can help by "adopting" one of these orphans for $10.00 a month. You can sponsor your pet for more;also more than 1 person can sponsor a pet. In return you will receive a picture of "your" dog or cat plus a report on him/her when you join the program and every 6 months there after. You will receive updates on your pet by email.

You are invited to visit your pet. Bring him or her treats and and toys; if you wish, walk him and play with him. You might fall in love with him and adopt him.

All funds received under this program are applied to the care of "your'' dog or cat. Any funds that exceed what is needed for "your" pet are applied to the care and welfare of other LAW animals at the Adoption Center.

You may send money for 6 months, 1 year or make a monthly contribution for your SHARE‑A‑PET.

When your pet is adopted , you will receive a letter telling you so, plus another form with names of pets selected for the SHARE‑A‑PET Program. You may select your next SHARE‑A‑PET, enclose your donation and come and visit your SHARE‑APET.

We give pets time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. In return, pets give us their all. It is the best deal man has ever made.
